HANOVER MODERN BUNGALOW
The Hanover Bungalow project was an exciting foray into a craftsman/bungalow renovation. The one-story brick cottage (before photos here) had great potential, and our team was excited for the challenge.
Working with a local architect ensured we stayed true to the bungalow style. We opened up the kitchen/living/dining room area to accommodate the modern lifestyle. Shiplap, warm wood tones, and a neutral paint palette were added to bring in a welcoming warmth. Geometric tiles in the bathroom and light fixtures with clean lines balanced the craftsman charm with a modern feel. A small addition and patio were added on the back, and the entire front facade was transformed. The result is quite possibly one of our favorite houses yet.
